Update 11/3/08 – Ghost is leaving tomorrow to move to a foster home. If everything works out as planned, he will be permanently adopted by that family. Good luck, Ghost! Good things are ahead for you, buddy.
Ghost is a stunning blue boy who needs a very special home. He has never raced. In fact, he’s not even able to complete race training because he is scared of people and it’s too traumatic for him to be handled in a fast paced noisy setting. He has gotten used to the people at our farm, but newcomers turn him into a shrinking violet. We would prefer the following conditions for his future home: confident non-aggressive greyhound already in the home to help show him the ropes, fenced backyard, calm/relaxed home setting, and no children because they have a tendency to do things unexpectedly or too quickly. If you have a huge heart, experience working with greyhounds who are easily frightened, and you have the time and patience to help him adjust to your new home, we would love to introduce you to him. Please contact Cathie Lambert at wmlcml6@gmail.com if you are interested in learning more about Ghost, or if you would like to meet him at our farm.
